I am writing to apply for Research Studentship in ---- University. I take this opportunity to introduce myself as Sudarshan Singh Rathore M. Sc. (Applied Microbiology) from VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu during academic year 2009-2011. I have completed my dissertation work in Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CSIR), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. I have completed the master thesis at Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CSIR), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India University under the direction of Dr. R. K. Tiwary entitled "Microbial Removal of Hexavalent Chromium from Chromite waste dump". This thesis was published last summer in format of book and is further now in process for publishing in an e-book. My graduation has been done in B. Sc. (Biotechnology) from Soft Vision College, Indore, affiliated from DAVV, Indore during academic year 2006-2009.
In 2011 I was presented a paper in International Conference NHBT-2011 on Chromium Toxicity and reduction of toxic Chromium. Also one research paper send to Water in Mining 2012: 3rd International Congress on Water Management in the Mining Industry.
I was interacting with you in International Conference NHBT-2011 during poster presentation. I also discussed about Ph. D. Position in your institute.
I am currently a research student at Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CSIR), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India basically dealing with Toxic Chromium Microbial Technologies; I believe that my academic training and work experience prepare me to be an effective researcher. For the last 5 years I have been studying Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Being a Higher secondary-school student I graduated extended education courses of Biotechnology and Microbiology. In 2011 I took Master's degree in Applied Microbiology from VIT University, Vellore, India. In 2011 I became a dissertation student in Toxic Chromium Microbial Technologies at Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CSIR), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. I also gained different research experience during B. Sc. and M. Sc. studies which are listed in my CV.
In 2011 I was presented a paper in International Conference NHBT-2011 on Chromium Toxicity and reduction of toxic Chromium. Also one research paper send to Water in Mining 2012: 3rd International Congress on Water Management in the Mining Industry.
I have solid experience in Biotechnological Techniques, Plant Biotechnological Techniques, Microbial techniques, Antimicrobial Techniques and Molecular biological Techniques and since recently Backbone. i.e. (My other computer skills are presented in CV). I have developed many models for chromium reduction method in mining area. I also have several conference and publication that are listed in my CV.
I believe with these educational values that I possess, pursuing a PhD will add more to it and expose me more to areas where Bio science knowledge are relevant and in addition, put into practice what I have learnt so far.
