By pursuing the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program, I hope that I can gain and strengthen my critical skills and knowledge in designing and analyzing effective policies. I aim to deepen my understanding of governance and public management, exploring both the theoretical frameworks and practical applications of effective policymaking. I am also eager to develop data-driven decision-making skills and master analytical tools to evaluate policies effectively. Additionally, developing leadership and policy advocacy skills is also essential for me, as I aspire to communicate policies effectively and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Most importantly, I look forward to case studies and hands-on projects, learning from New Zealand's successful policies. I am particularly interested in exploring how the New Zealand government developed the Wellbeing Framework Policy and how it serves as a model for creating community-driven services that truly meet people's needs. I hope to bring these insights back to Indonesia, adapting them to enhance governance and empower local communities.

It is important to allow the reviewer to understand your professional mindset in relation to your job application. What are your professional weaknesses? How do you hope to have upskilling for yourself by studying these courses and participating in immersion activities? You need to be more specific in your discussion rather than just presenting summary intentions in this statement. Try to give an insight into your current professional life. How will improving your knowledge and skills help you become a better professional? Do you aim for career advancement after this course of study?

Hii Febri, I believe you mentioned good points regarding learning objectives, but in a very superficial way. Try to develop how you will achieve these results, why these items were chosen as your goals, and how they will impact you in the future as well.

Hi Febri! I think you are really good on mentioning many things you want to learn. However, despite just mentioning all things A, B, C, etc., I suggest explaining the reason for each one. You can also revise the flow to make your answer smoother so that each sentence connects better.

Looking at your essay, I agree with other commentors. Rather than describing what you want to learn, you need to connect them with strong and specific reasons why the program would be beneficial to your future career. Back up your writing with specific reasons and examples.
