After graduating from high school, I enrolled in the International Institute of Economics and Linguistics. While studying economics and Korean, I developed not only analytical thinking but also intercultural communication skills.
My efforts to learn Korean were not limited to the curriculum of Russian universities. I took online courses at prestigious Korean universities such as Seoul National University, Ewha Womans University, and Kookmin University. Among the subjects I studied were « Introduction to Comparative Economics in East Asia, « Reading on Current Affairs in Korea, and « Business Korean.
Based on my knowledge of the Korean language and my connection with Korean culture, I actively participated in cultural life in universities and cities, and I always attended events organized by the Korean Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, and served as an assistant. In addition, I have engaged in various activities such as singing Korean ballads, fan dances, samulnori, conference participation, and supporting Korean learning projects using artificial intelligence. There have been many achievements in my path. I ranked high in Korean speaking competitions and became a university representative in the All-Russian Korean Olympiad.
All these experiences proved that I can make a greater contribution to the spread and popularization of Korean culture in the future. Little by little, I was moving toward my dream of becoming not only an interpreter but also a person who deeply understands Korea.
Perhaps the most important moment in my life was the experience of being an exchange student at Baejae University in Daejeon. This experience not only opened Korea up to me, but also instilled in me the belief that this is where I can realize myself. Korea has inspired me a lot and given me the strength to overcome any obstacles in the face of any difficulties.
And thanks to the cooperation between Seokyung University and Irkutsk National University, I learned more about Seokyung University. I participated in lectures with students studying Russian, made presentations, and listened to other speeches with interest. Among them, the lecture « Korea's Education System was the most impressive. This valuable experience allowed me to better understand my academic aspirations and helped me greatly in determining the future of the university.
Even after passing the Korean proficiency test (topic 4) and completing a level 5 course at a language school, I am continuing to improve my skills by studying at a level 6 language school at Kyungbok University in Namyangju City. I have become accustomed to studying in Korea and have adapted well without feeling uncomfortable.
As I gained knowledge and experience, I realized that graduating from graduate school in Korea is important. After looking for a master's course that can combine my skills and dreams for a long time, I found the K-Content Interpretation and Translation Management (Russia) program at Seokyung University.
It's a perfect direction for my ambition because it gives me the opportunity to further develop translation and management in the field of cultural content and do international work connecting Russia and Korea.
I would like to use my knowledge of Korean and Russian to work in the global content industry, develop, localize, promote K-products, and advise on marketing issues. I am confident that this master's course will open up new opportunities for me and make meaningful contributions to the development of Korean content in Korea and Russia.
