Received an email from the Dean of Columbia University to consider their school. Why me?
Hey people! Thank you for your time and kind consideration. So, yesterday I got an e-mail form the Dean of Columbia University that asks me to seriously consider their school.
The thing is, why me? And I have never even contacted them! What does that mean? Please help me!
Thanks, thanks, thanks! ~Lilly Cullen
This means that based on your school performance, extracurricular activities, and test scores, you would have a realistic chance of getting in. Don't worry, this has happened to me and some of my friends too. Take it as a compliment, because they consider you to be one of the best in the nation!
Good luck with the college search and apps!
Thank you for your great words. I truly appreciate your response!
Hi Lilly! That's some great news! Probably it was a reference from one of your instructors at your former institution. As the e-mail itself says, the key word is to CONSIDER, because in as much as it may be a good and credible institution, does it compliment what you wish to achieve in life? Such questions may trigger your choice and direction of thought with reference to the invitation. All in all, its good that you are making headway's, and am wishing you luck!!
