The topic for this essay for UCF Burnett Honors College is :It is March 18, 2028. Describe the entries to your appointment book for the day.
Your criticism and input it much needed and I thank you right off the bat =].

As the icy air from the open window hit my exposed skin, my eyes opened to the last day of my month-long stay in Antarctica. I sleepily yawned while gazing around my temporary habitat, situated directly across from the first Antarctic Hospital. Realization hit me as I remembered that I must rise from the warmth of my bed to start another demanding yet adventurous day. As I came out from under the bedspread, my arm automatically reached for a very vital part of my existence: my PDA. I quickly opened the calendar application to review my schedule. The first event on my agenda read, "9 A.M.- 4 P.M.- Manage Pharmaceutical Division of Antarctica Hospital." This part of my day was the primary reason for my stay in Antarctica. Since no environmentalist known to man could resolve the global warming crisis, the environment in the tundra of Antarctica had become inhabitable for everyday people who chose to live there, yet the temperature was still frosty and glacial. I had been hired to serve as this continent's first and only clinical pharmacist. This is my first month here as a trial, tomorrow I will be arriving home in New York City to finalize my arrangements to move, along with my husband, to this wonderful location. The next appointment in my PDA recites, "12:30 P.M.- Lunch Break (Call Blake)." I am so grateful that my amazing husband, Blake, was willing to move across the world for me, so that I may pursue my dreams. I kept reading the schedule; "5 P.M.- Shopping with Karen." On this trip I had made a wonderful lifelong friend, Karen Archer. My face lit up at the thought of having a break from my hectic schedule to have a girl's night before my departure. We were eager to finally see the brand-new and first mall to be built in Antarctica. It was the world's largest man-made structure, built to be also environmentally friendly. It was amazing to see all of the futuristic innovations new to society. My calendar informed me that the next event on my schedule was "7 P.M- Sunset" The best part of living in this new environment is the spectacular. Because of the angle of the sun's light, gorgeous colors in the Antarctic sky appear. In addition to the astounding wildlife, to be this is breathtaking. The last affair on my agenda read " 8 P.M.- Antarctic Direct Flight 508 to New York City, USA." Even though I was ecstatic to return home to my husband, I could not wait to return to this remarkable new world in hopes of owning an independent pharmacy in the near future. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would find my life to be as audacious and surprising every day.

As I came out from under the bedspread, my arm automatically reached for a very vital part of my existence: my Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).

Wow, cool!!! --the continent's first and only clinical pharmacist.

All I would suggest would be to divide it up into three paragraphs for clarity.
