'family originated in Mexico' How I can contribute to the diversity of the University

I am currently working on a colleger essay for the application. Writing isn't really my strongest subject. Math is. So i would really appreciate any help I can get. Thank You!

I can contribute many things to the University of ... but a major thing I can contribute to it is its diversity. I have been around many people from different parts of the world and I have also experienced many cultures. My family originated in Mexico and about every year I visit at least once or twice. Not many people in my generation do that. I believe it is critical to explore your roots and be more culturally diverse.

That's good because you can then write about how you maintained your cultural roots but also accepted American Culture. It shows your acceptance of both and it fosters a sense of acceptance of other people's cultures who have different roots but similiar to your's
