Hi guys, please do feel free to point out any grammar mistakes or make suggestions! THANK YOU!

Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below (1000 character maximum).

I love going the extra distance. This characteristic has been ingrained in me as a result of my involvement in cross country and track & field. When I calculate the amount of time I spent training over the 4 years, it comes up to about 3000 hours. Yet, this sport gave back even more than this amount that I put into it. What causes me put one foot in front of the other and doing so until exhaustion?

(Should I write more on Camaraderie?) I love how running is an individual yet team sport and how everyone counts on me and I count on everyone.

I love pushing myself and feeling like I gave it my all, as I cross the finish line. I love how we run in all kinds of weather and just deal with it. I love how I could run up the hill, even though I just ran 5-kilometres. I love that I can do anything, as long as I put my heart and soul into it, and this is something that allows me to overcome the unpleasant realities of everyday life.

Instead of saying that they depend on you and you depend on them just say that team work plays a huge role in runing. Say how you tend to feel when you Are runing and how has runing affected you.

"I love that I can do anything, as long as I put my heart and soul into it, and this is something that allows me to overcome the unpleasant realities of everyday life." This statement is vague and cliche; try ending in a unique and memorable way. I especially like how you started your essay.

When I calculate the amount of time I spent training over the past or previous 4 years, it comes up to about 3000 hours. Yet, this sport gave back even more than this amount in my opinion, even more than THE amount sounds better that I put into it. What causes me to put one foot in front of the other, and doing so until exhaustion?
