Two words that describe me are:
Untamed Maverick

A leisure activity I enjoy is:
Swimming in the ocean is the most unwinding activity for me. Being able to dive into the water and allow waves to slowly drift you away is wonderful. As a person who is persistent, I see the sea as an obstacle that must be overcome to reach your goal, but the phenomenal sensation of a beach represents that people should try to enjoy the journey to their goal.

My favorite movie is:
V for Vendetta, is my favorite movie because it was the first movie I ever watched in English and the first movie I watched in the United States after having moved to the country. Also, the film portrays a character that fights for his beliefs and for the voices of others, which is significantly meaningful to me.

My role model is:
My role models are the women in my life: my sister (because of her personal determination and ambition), my grandmothers (because of their affection, strong temperament and self-assertion), and my mother (because of her ability to sacrifice herself for her family).

Please tell us what excites you about being a member of the GW community. (500 word limit)
The George Washington University, as a well-established university has caught my attention with its wide array of opportunities. The university offers courses, majors and minors that a vast majority of other American colleges or universities do not offer. The George Washington University is a true blend of liberal arts making it my top choice with its academic diversity suiting my interests as a future college student.

As a small college with an ambiance of intimate learning in every classroom, The George Washington University would expand my capacity to fathom new subjects, along with permitting me the capability to pursue new interests. With over 50% of classes having less than 20 students, more than ample communication with professors can be established, which greatly appeals to me.

Personally, my style of learning is through experiences, not by examining the pages of a textbook and memorizing answers. True education does not derive from remembrance, but actually from absorbing and appreciating information. At The George Washington University, I hope to become an active member in the diverse associations of American society, while in our nation's capital.

With a reputation for a famed International Studies Program, and as a person who intends to pursue a career in this field, The George Washington University is very alluring. I believe that one of the main components for acquiring effective international perspectives is through the learning of languages. A particular language says much about a society and allows a person to comprehend distinct peoples and their culture. Through my research, I've learned that The George Washington University offers various programs of study for those interested in linguistics. The multitude of languages ranges from Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew and Arabic, those not even being all of them, is immensely enticing and noteworthy.

I consider myself a Global citizen, not only an American citizen. As a person who has moved to different regions and a different country, I comprehend the value of incorporating new ideologies. While at The George Washington University, I intend to pursue my interest in learning languages and absorb new points of view by mingling with distinct people.

My family believes that a person is worth the amount of languages that they speak; and I hope to continue my studies in language. If I were to be accepted to The George Washington University, at the time of my graduation, not only would I have a diploma from a remarkable institution, but I would also exit my college years with a skill to speak several different languages, which would allow countless doors to be opened and provide me with countless business opportunities.

my sister (because of her personal determination and ambition), my grandmothers (because of their affection, strong temperament and self-assertion), and my mother (because of her ability to sacrifice herself for her family).

I like if you don't have these brackets :)
Are there any word count limitations for the first three questions ( leisure activity, favorite movie, role model ) ? If not I like you talk a bit more on favorite movie and role model :)

I consider myself a Global citizen, not only an American citizen.

... this is a strong saying :) ...better if you also mentioned about diverse cultures here, not just languages and ideas. Because when you associate people with diverse cultural backgrounds that would help you have great insights about the value of being a global citizen.

Good writing :)

All the questions do not have a word limit other than the long essay. Thank you for the input, the cultural aspects would definitely be a good addition.

Regarding the movie and role models, would you like me to go more in depth with the meaning and reasoning?
