Need someone to read my college essay and give its opinion THANKS
Write an essay in which you tell us about someone who has made an impact on your life and explain how and why this person is important to you.
Everyone wants to be like their parents when they grow up. I don not. I do t want to suffer on this life after high school . My parents did not have education they only went to school for just 6 years of school and that was it, no middle school nor high school. But it was supposed to be like that after they finish the elementary. Their responsibility after their "education" was either to work on the fields like the rest of the brothers of my father or stay home and have a responsibility on home. I do not want none of that. Probably they did not want that for me. They went for the American dream.
They didn't want neither of their 3 children to suffer what they suffer. They wanted us the be someone in life. My parents never gave up on us. They wanted me to go to school every day to study and learn so I could have a good career and don't suffer like them. That was their plan after all.
The little town where my parents came from, kids parents would not care about their kids education. Those parents would let their kids follow the pattern. Some revel and brake that herencia and try to success in their life's. Those kids needed education, something that they could not get if they stayed there. That is what my parents should had did for them self's. But they did not, they stayed in the rancho and did what others did; work on the fields.
I am so lucky to have parents that care about my education and want me to succeed and have a good career and not a job that burns your back like my fathers on his work under that hell.
They want me to succeed, they had been the only support that I had, they are my role models on never giving up. My father brought us here, it took him to get everything ready, papers and more papers, like 10 years before we could pursuit the American Dream. He never abandoned us.
They brought me here to have a better life. To overcome the odds. To have a job that won't be killing me. Thy have been with me since I was born, taking care of me, pushing me, supporting me on everything, they want me to graduate. They want a better Luis. Without them I would not had been where I am today, few months away from graduation. The first in the family to graduate from high school. But I have more siblings that will follow my path. Everything thanks to my parents they where and are here for me and they will be there for my brothers.
When I grow up I want to be like my parents, I want to pass that vibration onto my children, of never giving up and that you can have a future you just have to follow the path. I want my kids to look into me like their role model and influence them to have a good education. Everything thanks to my parents.
Any suggestion will be helpful!
