What do you plan to study at X University? What career are you pursing at this point and why?

If I get admitted to X University, I plan to study chemical engineering because I want a career with lots of creativity and fulfillment while being a critical workforce to the operation of my country's economy. I want to join this field for the sake of its vast amount of interesting subjects like math, chemistry (my favorite) and molecular biology. I want to be a chemical engineer to bring radical change to the agriculture led industry sector of my country and Africa as a whole. Anything that is going to be manufactured in industries needs the mastery of a chemical engineer. My plan is not only being a chemical engineer but to become a leader in the field of manufacturing. And since chemical engineers are taught about the whole industrial process or how an entire plant functions, they have the chance of climbing to the top and become a leader.

don't use 'and' to begin a sentence, it is preferable to use 'also' which is followed by a comma rather than using 'and'
