Please edit and help me out. Should I add more about what I've learned from quilting, or something? Thanks in advance :)
From prior experience, I have found that quilting is often thought of as a hobby for the elderly and housewives. Contrary to this, I feel that quilting is a forgotten art, taking immense skill and knowledge of geometry. When my quilting career emerged at the age of sixteen, I began creating child and infant quilts and gave them as gifts. When these quilts were received, I was astonished at the joy they brought to people. I find it simply beautiful how a handmade blanket can flush the darkness out of someone's day and replace it with love, caring, and understanding.
