If there has been some obstacle or "bump in the road," in your academic or personal life, please explain the circumstances.

*Being raised as the seventh child of eight children I've endured may obstacles and challenges. Not afforded the many opportunities or the financial stability of many families these experiences have driven me to excellence. I work hard and strive to be the best in all aspects. I lost my mother at eleven years old at the time it was an diffcult lost to take apond at such a young age.... i have to finish .. just try to see how it sounds so far

How has your family history, culture or environment influenced who you are?...

The past few years of my life has truely been a journey so much about me has change my faith is stronger,I im much more confident a lot of life lessons learned and they have all made me the women im today. My enivornment has influence me to make wiser choices in life. Nothing is never given. I live up to the qoute "if opportunity doesnt knock build a door" and thats what im striving for. i'll be the second child out of eight to actually graduate and will be attenting college. i look at my peers and family and see the road their life is heading down and i take the negative and turn it into something postive. and as i've also been told theres more to life than just sitting around being a bump on a log. i may not be the most brightest person but everythimg i do i always perserver and 'only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly'. being a young black african american is not as diffcult as people make it seems. life is about choices, who you associate with, the enivornment or surronnd yourself into and the people you admire. i can say my culture influence me to drive and succed at everything the sky is the limit i always take chances it doesnt hurt to try. "it's hard to fail but worse never to have tired to succeed".
