Would it be possible for somebody to please read my supplements and tell me how they think they are and if i need to correct anything.

1. As you researched and visited colleges and universities, why did you decide to apply to Lehigh? Please give specific reasons. What contributions will you make during your time at Lehigh? (1000 chars max)

(978 chars)
Lehigh University has always been one of my top colleges. I have been to Pennsylvania many times, and I like that Lehigh is only 2 hours or so from home. It has 5,000 undergrads, which is a pretty decent size school compared to mine with only 1,200. I would like to be around more people, but not too many where it would be overwhelming. I also like the fact that it has 75% out of state students, giving me the chance to meet many different people from many different places. I intend to major in civil or mechanical engineering, and Lehigh has both of those. Since I am not sure if that is what I definitely want to major in, it is good that there are over 90 other majors for me to choose from. I believe I will bring a good vibe to Lehigh because of my great personality and ability to make friends easily. My experiences with moving and working have helped me to adjust to new environments and make friends easily, which is something that I hope to be able to do at Lehigh.

2. What values do you believe are important in fostering a cohesive, successful, and supportive campus community? Please provide us with details from an experience that you had that has shaped these values. (1000 chars max)

I have always been told to be kind to others and keep an open mind, and I have done my best to follow this advice throughout my life. Attending college is a new experience for many people and nobody is completely sure of how to handle it at first. We all want to have a successful college experience in a nice campus environment, and I believe that it can easily be achieved by being friendly and considerate of others. It is necessary to maintain a safe and clean campus that will benefit everybody, but this is something we must all take part in doing. The community must work as a whole to achieve these goals, no matter what ethnic backgrounds or religious beliefs they may have.

thank you so much for any feedback

Your first answer is fairly solid. You might want to consider removing the bit about not being sure what you want to major in so that you have more room to talk about how you plan to contribute to the university, though.

Your second answer needs more work, but then you do say it isn't finished yet. You're off to a good start -- kindness and open-mindedness are good values for sure. However, you need to add more about an experience that shaped these values for you.

Good advice! And here is a fix for the second one:

Each of us wants to have a successful college experience in a campus environment that is conducive to learning , and I believe that this can easily be achieved by cooperating with and being considerate of others.
