1. Why do you want to study at KUAS, and what do you want to learn while you are there?
2. What makes you qualified to study at KUAS
3. How do you want to use what you will learn at KUAS in the future?
"You write, so you exist."
This quote deeply reflected my lifelong passion for writing fiction in junior high school. However, my perspective evolved after reading Sapiens by Harari. I was shocked by the fact that humans can destroy the Australia's megafauna only in thousand years. This made me realize that there are many crucial things for me to write about beyond imaginative stories, mainly on how dangerous humans can be without the knowledge to manage our environment properly.
This realization inspired me to take further action. My project idea SAUSAGE (Srawung with Crassipes Tutelage) educates farmers about the environmental impact of water hyacinth while promoting ecosystem balance. I also wrote short film scripts and research reports on the impact of waste disposal on urban ecosystems.
For me, KUAS stands out as the ideal place to pursue my passion for ecology. With its world-class facilities and reputation for advanced science, KUAS offers me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of ethology, genetics and environmental management; subjects needed to understand the ecosystem's complexity. I look forward to collaborating with diverse peers and professors to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge, preparing me for a career in ecological research.
My academic and extracurricular experiences have shaped me into a highly motivated and disciplined learner. At my boarding school, which brings together top students nationwide, I have consistently achieved high academic performance while engaging in research and writing initiatives. What's more, the teachers have also allowed me to excel in laboratory, providing me with a strong foundation in scientific methodology. Beyond academics, my commitment to addressing environmental issues through projects reflects my ability to combine creativity with real-world problem solving. These exposures not only demonstrate my readiness for KUAS's challenging curriculum, but also my ability to contribute to its vibrant academic community.
My ultimate goal is to become a leading researcher in ecological science, particularly in bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and public understanding. Through KUAS's comprehensive education and global network, I aim to contribute solutions to environmental challenges which I concern and inspire a broader societal commitment to sustainability.
