Well, I think your answer is not strong enough for Yale -- it's about nothing. I've seen a lot of answers like this and what they all lack is elaborating on why exactly some Uni suits to you. I guess you need to add more stuff about yourself .

Your revision is better than the original--less name-dropping is a plus. Names are cheap to get and require less than 30 seconds to pull up a Yale campus map. Maybe talk about something that you'd ONLY find at Yale, something that makes Yale different from other schools. Why can't you double major at other universities? Also, I feel that any student, international or not, with a strong command of some big words could have written this sentence. Showing passion for something is, IMO, a way to demonstrate your interest when you have nothing else to say. I'd suggest emailing some psychology/music professors at Yale for some insight...just say you're interested in their psychology program and maybe they'll have something special to say.
