Ecotourism - TOEFL WRİTİNG TASK

Both the passage and the lecture talk about ecotourism. While the author mentions that ecotourism is beneficial for nature, people, location, and a lot of examples, the lecturer says that these arguments are false and harmful for nature.

First of all, the writer claims that if ecotourism areas consume beneficial, this is very correct choice. If we need an example, children learn to protect nature and environment in school, but they don't do anything. If teacher or schools do travel to ecotourism area, children can learn better. The lecturer refuses this idea by explaining that when building hotels and ways harmful for nature and this negative effect. Another negative impact is that county economic commitment to ecotourism, however this is very harmful concept for county and country's people.

Secondly, the author elements that ecotourism improve a financial basis for people and create a new job idea. Many people find a job and working these area. The speaker, on the other hand, it is a sound good but are think future. If we think only present, our children have anything.

In the end, the reading and the lecture are both about ecotourism. The lecture challenges the claims in the article.

The word requirement for this type of TOEFL writing task is 250-300 words. You have written less than 200 words so I am not confident that you will achieve a passing score for this essay. There is a chance that you have summarized your explanation and analysis so much, that the reader may end up confused by your presentation rather than being interested and informed by your written piece. I feel that you could have expanded more on the explanations and comparison points for the 2 types of information sources. That is because even though these share the same topic, there are 2 opposing sides to be considered. In this case, there could have been more of a proper comparison if you had done an expanded explanation for each source first.
