This is about why being honest is very important. I hope that you will learn from this story that being honest is very very important.
There are many things about why people are honest. There are people who just expect rewards or money and some really want to do be honest. As you can see, there are many people who just do it for the sake of doing because they want money but some really do have a kind heart and want to do it, not for a reward but they just want to make people happy.
Just always put this in mind that 'if you do not tell the truth, you will never forget it'. Here is a story about honesty and it is a real story about me.
I was taking a science test after my lunchtime at school. It was very hard for me as I did not study so I cheated and I got 14 and a half out of 15.
Immediately, I felt guilty of cheating but I knew nothing could be done about it. I went into my van to go back home. When I went back home, I kept on thinking about it.
Soon, my mother and father came back home and I told them about it. When I told my father, he didn't believe me and I thought about how much he had trusted me. I told my mother and she said that I should go to tell teacher that I cheated.
So trembling with fear, I went to tell the teacher that I cheated in her science test. In fact, I didn't have to be scared as the teacher only told me to redo the questions I cheated on.
The moral of the story is never be scared to tell the truth, no matter what you will face when you tell the truth. There are two forms of honesty they are 'Honesty to self and 'Honesty to others'
I hope you have learnt that honesty is very important.
