Persuading readers to take a trip to Vietnam

This is my in intro so far

During last year's sumer break my parents gifted me tickets to travel to Vietnam. At first, I was a little dissapointed for not getting tickets to go to a country that everyone travels to like Paris and Rome. However in the end, I was shocked of how amazing my trip came out to be and was by far the most memorible vacation that I have been on. Not only did I get to be in a beautiful country, I got to see where my parents came from. Everyone should take their time out and take a chance to travel to Vietnam because it is an amazing opportunity to be see and learn about its history, experience the Vietnamese's culture, and there wouldn't have to be any worries about a pricy vacation.

I think that you shouldn't summerize what you're going to talk about in your intro. Just give out key points of what it is that your going to talk about.
