Need format help before writing Statement of Intent

Hi All,

I want to know if there are some formats or basic questions I need to answer before I start to write a personal statement or Statement of Intent.

For example:
What are your educational goals?
What are your professional aspirations?
Why have you chosen this major?
Why did you apply to this school?
Why do you want to do what you want to do?
How has your experience prepared you for graduate school?

1) Do I have to answer all of above or i can cover only some important?
2) Do I have to follow any particular order in paragraphs?

I wish to to apply for Masters in Graphic Design / Visual Communication in USA.

I wanted my personal statement to be fun and interesting and to be worded on my strengths. I DON'T have any academic background to begin with but only practical experience of 9 years gained on job.

Can someone guide me to a format to begin with. I dont want to go wrong in the basics (if any).

I highly recommended you to do all answers. You need to make describe an essay(five paragraphs) why you want to be a student of university/college.

Hi Vipul, I think you can write it without saying you have NO educational background... focus on whatever education you do have. These questions do form the foundation and need to be answered, but you can do it in any way you like. In fact, you could almost answer all of these in a single sentence and then go on to make the essay just how you like it!
