"Happiness"; Exemplification Essay - Writing intrdouction

Here's a tip I got from a really good friend of mine. When writing an introductory part of your essay, the easiest way to do is think about your main point, but BROADER. Just think of your main point, but make it really broad or think of something that relates to your main point and talk about that intro. For example: Your topic is about cheese, you can start off by saying, you like a lot of things , but cheese is the best! **hope that helps!

You can start off your essay by talking about when you are happy or what you do that makes you feel happy. For example, I love swimming and I talk about how it makes me feel happy by just simply being in the water. Or you start off with a bit general with your own definition of happiness perhaps and then follow up with specific examples.

Well.... you can do a little bit of research in finding facts for this topic. Google for Happiness essays and there are loads of them. Get an idea about the essay structure and pick good points through reading. Do a rough sketch of those points.

You need to start with introducing your topic. Define happiness (you find many definitions and choose what you like the most and with what you deal better).... I guess it is better to mention in the intro itself that " Happiness" is a very subjective concept that can be hardly measured. It varies from person to person though everybody wants to be happy :)

You can identify different perceptions and go on talking about them para by para :) Try to support your ideas with examples. Finally do the conclusion by summing up everything you talked.
