The MBAN program is an ideal fit for me to advance my career in business analytics. During my college studies, I completed courses in data management, data mining and programming, which gave me the technical skills such as SQL and Python to examine various data sets. I am passionate about applying the analytical and technical skills in a business context.

The program's curriculum with courses like Business Immersion and Data Driven Marketing will provide me with a broad business background to relate with analytical skills. What particularly appeals to me is the four-month internship opportunity, allowing me to work directly with renowned companies. The Hari B. Varshney Business Career Centre will point me in the direction of prospects for professional advancement and offer customized career development.

Sauder takes great pride in its diverse cohort. I look forward to interact with my fellow students and learn from their experiences. I firmly believe that my collaborative team spirit and learning attitude make me an asset to the cohort. Furthermore, my cross-functional knowledge of technology and analytics coupled with my experience in the IT industry will certainly be useful and insightful for the cohort. I am committed to bringing diversity, promoting inclusive teamwork, and enhancing academic performance.

You should be discussing points that would show you are more than qualified for the program. You are not really accomplishing that task. There is no stand out opportunity presented in this essay. You appear rather ordinary even though you are trying to sell yourself as an impressive potential cohort. You did not manage to sell yourself that way because you discussed the regular requirements for the students as you saw in the website more than anything else. So you sold yourself short in the process. I would not consider you as a strong applicant based upon this writing.
