What are your career aspirations and why is a graduate business degree the next step to achieving those goals? Specifically, why have you chosen a Johns Hopkins program to do this? (500 words).

When I found my passion for Integrated Marketing, I made the decision to change from the field of Education to Integrated Marketing. This was triggered by a trip to the United States done in 2011. I discovered that many major brands have a very strong brand image and that this image is presented across actual and online retailing. This inspired my interest in marketing. I observed that Target has distinguished itself from other discount stores with its exclusive deals with various name brands and designers and increased the foot traffic of its stores (both actual and online). On the other hand, Taiwanese brands do not know how to make use of its resources in online marketing and collaboration with other companies. Taiwan is in much need of experts in integrated marketing. With training gained in your program, I will return to Taiwan and design marketing strategies that will establish the brand image of Taiwanese brands.

The reason I think XXX is a suitable program for me is because your program is willing to take students with no professional work experience. That means it is perfect for a person like me who is interest in Marketing but have no related working experience. I would like to focus on digital marketing since online marketing is an emerging field with tremendous value for e-commerce and other internet based companies. With my experience in setting up an online store and the professors' many years of experience, I would be placed in the best position to learn. My long-term goal is to return to Taiwan and work as a brand manager. I wish to transform Taiwanese brands with good potential into international brands so that these brands can systematically market their products and enter the international market while I can contribute to my home country.

"Taiwanese brands do not know how to make use of its resources in online marketing and collaboration with other companies. " I think you shouldn't generalize and make an statement like that or they might get the idea that you haven't done enough research. Maybe I would mention it in a different way...let's say how in your opinion online marketing for taiwanese brands would increase if the right usage of resources was implemented " (of course written in a better way i'm just trying to give you the idea)

and also mentioning you basically only wanna get into the program because you have no experience makes it look like you had no other choice but to chose that program, I would suggest mentioning that you are attracted to their program because you saw the course lists and what you mentioned about being interested in digital marketing. My suggestion is do not mention you chose that program because you wanted to go to marketing and this one allows you to enroll without any work experience, show a bit more interest for the institution, their program, if there's any concentrations they offered, or any other opportunities you could explore at this school that you didn't find in others.

Hope this helps , if you need anything else please let me know, sorry I cannot really help correcting grammar since I am not a native english speaker. However, I am quite good with writing.

P.S could you please like my comment? Thank you!

This was triggered by a trip to the United States done in 2011. I discovered that many major brands have a very strong brand image and that this image is presented across actual and online retailing.

This was triggered by my trip he USA in 2011 where I found how aggressively the major brands make use of e-commerce tools to build their brand image and how successful they have been with capturing customer loyalty by doing so.

I observed that Target has distinguished itself from other discount storeswith its exclusive deals with various name brands and designers and increased the foot traffic of its stores (both actual and online).

.... I wish if you rephrased this line a bit - the part I highlighted does not convey your idea properly.

That means it is perfect for a person like me who is interested in Marketing but have no related workingwork experience.

With my experience in setting up an online store and the professors' many years of experience, I would be placed in the best position to learn.

... again, this is not very clear.... better re-phrase!
