When we battle for having a competitive edge in business, data analytics plays a vital role in reaching success. Likewise information has been my strength all through when socializing or getting along with people, I grasp all the data which I get from different sources, analyze it and reciprocate in places where it's apt be it sports, politics or general knowledge I would have a say in all. I least knew analytics has been there with me ever since and influenced me to a point where Masters in Business analytics would inspire to implement my diverse perspective derived from my current work area on SAP IBP(Integrated Business process ) an application developed to capture , interpret , plan and act quickly on real time- information in a fast and efficient way, coupled with my acquired skill on interpretation to best use

SAP JOB
I started my job working for a USA based start-up which aligns itself as one of the channel partner of SAP AG, an enterprise resource planning tool used worldwide. During my work, I keenly focused SAP's integrated technology computing platform, SAP NETWEAVER, where even the smallest change from my side influenced the day-to-day activity of millions of users and corporate transactions. I strived to successfully automate the user security checks being a part of a team of 3 members; we managed to streamline the entire security rule set & automate the process using UML tool, hence reducing the error prone manual process along with optimizing the work load and increasing the productivity. Throughout my work experience I was involved in depth analysis of any issues raised, giving in a fixation which is timely & one which foresees future effects and counter them as well besides pulling reports by writing in SQL queries using Microsoft tools for reporting and formulating and forecasting statistics. My contribution to the organization was recently recognized in my recent promotion to the post of associate consultant from a graduate trainee and given in a prominent role in the infrastructure management department. The core background of Information systems should make me a competent Data Scientist, but to achieve that I would require training and guidance from your prestigious institution, where I would be exposed to various methodologies, case studies and different parameters of functional and non-functional areas.
INTERNSHIP
Over the past two and half years I ventured working beyond SAP , aspiring to be one amongst the few to communicate with man-made machines, I started associating with robots more by joining in a robotics start-up company, XXX design labs part time. At XXX, we designed robotic kits, organize education programs and workshops to enlighten student on robots, micro-controllers, etc. This dynamic organization contains people who drive on same passion I.e. Artificial Intelligence; these are people who leave their lucrative IT jobs behind and join this company & inspire millions of other undergraduate & school kids to follow their passion. There was one particular workshop at IIT, Bombay where we narrowly missed from registering our names in the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS, My Team including me had put in straight 36 hours of work to build 110 line followers robots which runs on a ATmega 40 micro-controllers with inputs from 3 sensors, the objective was to cover a 30M *3CM track within 30 minutes in a single attempt simultaneously by all the 110 bots. If, the bots would have consumed 3 minutes lesser we would have stuck gold but unfortunately we could not make it. I still believe that hard work never fails and there would be another opportunity soon calling upon us.
COLLEGE PROJECT
Academically I was fortunate enough to get myself enrolled in one of the premier institutes in India, Amrita School of Engineering, where my area of expertise was on neural networks & embedded systems in the field of Electronics & Instrumentation engineering. In my senior year of bachelors program, my affinity towards neural networks leads me to unravel one of my ambitious academic projects "Neuronal Memory Consolidation of Hippocampus Using Genesis". This project focused on computational models of the hippocampus region, a part of the brain responsible for memory allocation, and its interaction with other brain structures during simple forms of learning, and how the hippocampus processes information and the data being used up by the other parts of the brain. We had developed a mathematical model for the pattern in which the hippocampus processes the information. It was awarded as one of the best projects in that year. This project was the inception of my inquisitiveness to put neural networks to better practice, which laid the foundation into the world of analytics. The professors were always impressed with my inept ability to ask critical questions and this was one of the reasons my professors appreciated my knowledge. My inability to reproduce verbatim of textbooks was the reason for none to impressive results in my undergraduate, my realization lead to widening of my knowledgebase by acquiring immaculate skill in the field of engineering .
EXTRAS IN COLLEGE
During my bachelor's program, I got involved in various activities outside academia. I was in fulcrum of managing the first technical fest (AROHAN'11 ) organized by my college for students to participate and portray their talents in the fields of science and technology. Because of my inclination towards Artificial Intelligence I was selected be to one of the volunteers for FIRA (Federation of International Robotics Association), held at my college.
PROBLEM IN INDIA UR SOLUTION
Data becomes information only when utilized properly, I come from a country where it is statically given that one in every three malnourished is in India, in spite of all the measures taken by government the situation still remains bleak, which impels me to put analytics to best use by focusing on turning health care data into knowledge , translating that knowledge into practice by using predictive analysis thus by increasing the transparency and decision making. This desire in me fuels to pursue masters in business analytics and in turn contribute to the society by giving back to it.
EXTRA CURRICULAR FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE
Apart from knowledge & skills, I derive immense satisfaction by helping the needy people. As ANNE FRANK ONCE SAID, "YOU WON'T BECOME POOR BY GIVING", I sponsor the education of a child through Non-Profit organization - World Vision and actively participate in various events conducted by them. I am an active member of the Lions Blood Bank; which is service oriented and organizes blood donation camps.
CONCLUSION
My qualifications combined with my work experience; show that I have the combative skill in field of neural networks & artificial intelligence with the natural flair for envisioning data. Master's in Business analytics would definitely make me a competent data scientist.
My hankering to become a business analyst, XXX university's ground breaking record and industry standard training would help me realize and exceed my career parameters. The guidance and stimulating sprit through the coursework would enable me to build on my deep but interrelated interests. I believe I could make an excellent contribution to the aura of XXX University & subsequently grow individually with my passion for data and leadership.
