Today I have learned three new ways about to saying " cause and effect "
Firstly, It's a " As a result of "
Ex : Many students may suffer from bad scores as a result of playing game whole day.
Secondly, " Result in "
Attacking police will result in more negative impacts than positive.
And " Lead to "
Ex: Learning english well will eventually lead to the high salary and acquire a good job.

We have other expressions used for effects such as:consequently ;then;therefore;so .....
Cause like:because; because of ;due to

I also have other expressions for causes and effects like:
+contribute to ( ~ lead to)
+by virtue of sth, on account of sth, what with sth ( ~ due to sth)
