new generation developers

My studying for extensive knowledge in field of computer and technology whether computer hardware or software which help me to be expertise in the field and then work as project manager or software engineer at leading industries with high salaries. Also, I would like to cultivate new generation developers to see importance of software development which currently in my country lack of software developers because people who graduated in the field often evade jobs about software development. So I will improve this point to create new developers for develop country and the world. About Korean language, I hope to use the language for increase money from guided freelance for Korea trip and teach the language to who have interested in the language that have a lot in my country.

For my research idea, I hope to do AR technology combine with board games such as chess, janggi and monopoly. Players just need space and some tools that necessary of AR for play it and then it will generate elements of its such as board and pieces. It will have beautiful animations and visual effects. It can play both multiplayer and AI which I hope people will be more interested in board games whether new generation or senior.

My plan for study, first year I will concentrate Korean language studying. Make friends both Korean and foreigners for help each other and practice Korean language in daily life. While I learn the language I will contact professor for laboratory and visit the university to create familiar.

When degree course started, I will draft research proposal to professor since first semester and improve it until they approved it. Every subjects are necessary especially mixed reality, real-time system, graphic, network and AI these subjects can help my research. Subjects about software engineering, DB, security, understanding patterns and so on which help me to be software developer to meet industry demands and achieve my study goal. Therefore, I have to concentrate all subjects of the major along with always review lessons and practice after classes. Before exam I will appointment friends to review lessons and help each other which I think it is a way to understand lessons quickly. I intend to work at laboratory for help works and projects of the laboratory. I hope I will have a chance to do research of the laboratory. Even I focus on education but I will try to attend every activities of university it will bring me close to culture and lifestyle of Korean people along with I can meet friends from another country and gain my experiences life.

I am impressed by software development of Korea

I was a gamer and the games I play mainly belongs to Korea. Because is has high quality whether games system, models design or graphics. That made me have a passion for computer and would like to touch it all the time. Therefore, I decided to learn undergraduate in computer science just because I thought that will use computers all the time. Absolutely, I used computers as I wished but it was not fun as I expected.

I had to face the pressure because students than 50 percent moved to other divisions along with my close friends when they cannot learn many difficult subjects which is principle of software development. But I believe in myself, I more concentrated on education and learn more as much as I can. Took all my free time to attend academic activities, training and competitions. From diligence and earnestness brought me to top 3 students of major and became to advisor of students in division. This happening made me love in software development and need to know more about it.

Third years in university, I have interested in AR technology. The motivation came from Bare-Hand-Based AR Interface research of Mixed Reality Laboratory, Hanyang university. This is my start point of learning mobile development. I used my knowledge about mobile development to did my senior project for graduate. The project is fitness application on IOS, I developed it because at the time many students in university interested in fitness. So I hope the application will help them or people who interested in fitness. Also, it won Senior Projects Awards contest then has been exhibited show in university.

I got experiences which cannot find in classroom from being elected as president of major. I think extremely rewarding in this sense. It taught me about leadership, assertive, decision, responsibility, teamwork, the value of time, work with pressure, problems solving and sacrifice for the society. Also it helped me to develop my programming skills because I always develop software for support university such as lucky draw and questionnaire mobile application for reduce to use paper resources.

From academic abilities and responsibility, I had a chance representing for Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA) competition. Instructor told me, it just presentation concept about mobile development. Therefore, I prepared topic about AR technology. But when the competition started, We shocked because requirement of SIPA is participants must develop application or mockups under Promotion of the tourism industry's topic. Suddenly, I changed my topic and spent 5 hours for creating mockup. My concept about reduce travel packages price by when people join more the package will reduce more. I got idea from basic of human needs. I did not hope award from the competition but it got runner-up award that I got excited experience and praise from the instructor.

Last semester, I was internship at IBMSD then I joined mobile development team. Our project about mobile internet banking. Normally, I usually develop native application but the project is hybrid application. So I spent first two weeks for learn basics of it. I developed part of front-end there are barcode scanner, getting data, UI defect fixed and minification which I can did it well. But the internship that I know, I just have programming skills for achieve the requirements but not considering about performance because I lack knowledge of computer architecture, database, networks, security and software design. These things make me feel want to study postgraduate.

Currently, I work as a programmer about software development about solar cell system. Working in the company teach me to develop software for hardware and communication through networks. That made me know variety of software development and saw the importance of software in various industries such as automobile, construction, electric power and transportation. These industries have to use software for help solve complex problems and analyzing a lot of data. In the future I think the world will need more software developers. Therefore, I decided to study postgraduate major in computer and software engineering for develop my software development skills and meet these industry demands.

I specifically choose Korea because I impressed in software development of Korea since I played Korea's games. I can see the technological progress at there. Korea is the country that is growing quickly, focus on education primarily to nurturing new generation to develop country all the time. So the country will give me knowledge fully and develop me to powerful for society. In addition, Korea is a country that have high standard education, advanced in engineer and technology, the prosperity of the country and economic progress. Also, I used to attend Asia summer program (ASP). It had many Korean people participated we had chance to joined many activities together which I feel I love straightforward habit of Korean people. They are sincere and speak frankly. They taught me about Janggi, Hangul and gave me try Korean foods. That made me love all about Korea and helped me choose study in the country easily.

I decided choose Hanyang university because I have interested in Bare-Hand-Based AR Interface research. It gave me the motivation to learn about mobile development. There are subjects that cover all of my demands and will teach me about practical skills, expertise, and creative problem solving. Also, the university has many activities I wish to join such as Chuseok party, Cultural excursion and a lot of party along with Mentoring program will make me learn about Korea faster. In addition, internship program it gives me opportunities to work in Korean companies.

KGSP will help me to achieve my dreams, whether languages skill, new experiences in classroom and living, meet new friends around the world, learn Korean culture from owner, travel, opportunities for work and international training. I hope I will have chance to shared experiences from KGSP to who interest in education and Korea The scholarship will make my dreams into my real world. I am ready to start new experiences in Korea and ready to do everything for makes Korea and Hanyang university proud of me.

KGSP application essay

My nickname is Nane. I was born in Bangkok and raised at out of town in Thailand. I have passion in computers and technology since received a first computer at 12 years old. I spent time with it more than 4 hours per day for experimenting different options by myself. When I got some experiences that I can helping others about installing operating system, video or photo editing and router configuration. They offered compensation it made me enough money to bought other programs for learn new things. I bought a lot of programs and games until I got an idea to develop software to the society instead of a user. After that I was attracted into the world of technology. It makes me need to know it more and more everyday. In high school, I often was schools represent for taught basic of MS office and multimedia to personnel in school and help teachers to resolved problems about computer in classrooms. I always attended technological aptitude competitions and sometimes I got awards. Apart of my technology skills, I play basketball, volleyball, Petanque and I joined sports competition both of inside and outside school. Also I like to play guitar and loves photography.

During the university, I have been good learning about basics of software development environment I always to find knowledge and I am faster learner it made me could reach to Top 3 in classes. I have concentrated on education until I have specific knowledge and I can develop several software it brings me become a developer at present. But while I keep learning I do not forget to attended university's activities such as sport days, CSR camp and education training. I can control between education and activity. Finally, I got second class honors and outstanding student activities. When I was third years in the university I had to find topic for senior project I intended to develop mobile application for education with AR technology. But my professor not allowed the topic because the time not enough to do it. Nowadays the topic still is a topic I want to do in my future. So I changed my topic to Fitness application on IOS because I have interested in bodybuilding and my body was firm until people around asked how to did it. I hope the application will help them. My senior project won Senior projects award contest after that people in my college led me teach them about IOS development. I am glad and happy for disseminate my knowledge. Last semester of the university I was internship at IBMSD I joined project about Mobile banking development of Thanachart bank. I spent time at there for 4 months made me know I still lack of experiences about software analysis, security, structure design, not dynamic, hard to maintain and using system resources too much.

Currently, I work as solar cell system developer it has gave me new experiences about software development for hardware and communication through networking. But my team do not have system analyst or software engineering so developers must design all of software structure, database, user interface and data management. I can develop it but I have issue same as when I was internship. I hope to work as Project manager, Team leader or Software engineering but I still lack of knowledge and leadership. And I would like to learn living life in abroad, culture, languages and education that are different. So these problems and hopes made me decide to study postgraduate at Hanyang University, Korea major in Computer and Software Engineering. But I do not want to disturb family in finances so I searched for scholarship and I found KGSP.

Reason I selected the university and Korea because I have interested in K-pop since 2008 and in 2014 I attended Asia summer program. It is a camp has many countries to attended including Korea. The camp gave me chance for living with Korean people we exchanged culture and joined many activities together. In my opinion I loves straightforward habit of Korean people. They are sincere and have life goal that certainly. It made me loves Korean people, culture and language I have started to learn Korean language after the camp I learn from book and communicate with Korean people through social network. I intended Korean is my third languages. And Korea has good environment, modern building and many attractions. For the university I have interested in many courses at there can increases both of knowledge and leadership. And I like Bare-Hand-Based AR interface research with Mixed reality laboratory and AR technology still is a topic I want to develop. There is plenty of research it is suitable for people who like to learn all the time like me. It will give me ideas to do research and to be able to publish to the society. The university reach high rank and famous for Engineering this is will gain my career opportunities. Also I loves building design and convenient transportation to go to the university so it is a university in my dream. KGSP will give me to achieve my goal whether it be Korean language, education and life experiences. And I can share experiences from KGSP to people who interest in education and Korea along with I can bring knowledge I get from KGSP for develop myself and developers in my country more powerful.
