I suggest that the analysis is written based on the trends. You can analyze which experienced growths in one paragraph, and analyze which experienced declines in one paragraph. Only focus on the trends from the start and final year. That way, your text would be easier to follow.

To simplify, IELTS Writing Task 1 has three parts: Introduction, Overview, and Body paragraph(s)

In introduction, the easiest way to do it is to paraphrase what is written in the question. You have to tell the examiner about the graph in your own words.

In overview, you can state the key features from the charts. In this part, you do not state the statistics. Only focus on the key features, like the most significant trend that you can find from the illustrations.

In body paragraph(s), you can add more details and features.

You can practice writing task 1 with that guideline as it will provide clarity for the readers. You also have to pay attention to the task completion. I am certain that your piece is less than 150 words. Not finishing the task will affect your grade, so you need to be careful.

As for the second question, I believe that we are never too late to learn. So, the answer is yes.

Student Talk / I need help to improve IELTS, especially Writing and Speaking Skills. [8]

Hello. For me, writing and speaking are the ones that require improvement and more practice. So, you are not alone :).

If you have budget, you can take IELTS preparation courses. They will help you prepare things that important for your test. However, if you want to study by yourself, I suggest you to practice more, more, and more. You can use any sources for your practice, starting from books, Youtube videos, or ask your closest friends to practice with you.

What skills and knowledge do you hope to gain from your proposed study program?

As a monitoring and evaluation analyst for the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) regional unit, I must provide solutions to tackle field challenges. However, to complete my tasks accordingly, I need to expand my capacity to promote community engagement in coastal management as their involvement in the regulatory process and implementation requires strengthening.

Thus, I choose the Master of Environmental Management at the University of Auckland as my first choice. This program offers various topics, including environmental governance, political ecology, and collaborative natural resource management. Gaining an in-depth understanding of the mentioned topics will prepare me to encourage community participation in Indonesia's coastal management actively.

As for my second choice, I choose the Master of Environmental Policy and Management at Lincoln University. From this program, I expect to gain skills in identifying solutions for resolving environmental problems from various discipline approaches. In addition, this program can equip me with fundamental keys in ecological governance, thus can prepare me to be a strategic planner and evaluator for the organization.
