I don't think that's necessary. They want to read something that's not about the awards but about how you enjoy a specific activity.

Also, if this is your essay, I find it a bit short.
a LOT of people choose to write about the piano. Make your essay more special.
I think it has potential though :)

I think you should talk more about the puerto rican culture! give some examples! I know there are a lot. I just think the more specific you are, the more they'll remember your essay.

I have to say.. that was really interesting!
When you think intellectually challenging you rarely think of a salon lol.
and I LOVED the twist at the end.
In my opinion, you don't need to change a thing :)
