Scholarship / "In 10 years, what do you plan on doing with your experiences..."-Essay help. [3]

Please try to help me with my essay, and if you can proofread it, I am going to mail it in today later in the day.

3. In 10 years, what do you plan on doing with your leadership and academic experiences, and how will your training and experience at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology help you to achieve this? (less then 500 words).

We all have goals, and ambitions we plan on doing, which continually change based on our experiences. Ten years ago, I only thought about the present today I think about the future. I plan on taking my leadership skills, experiences and my training at University of Ontario Institute of Technology to fulfill my ambitions in the next ten years.

My ambition is to be part of a major Canadian game development company. For me this company is Ubisoft, hopefully working in the Toronto branch. At the company I hope to work as a 3D artist or on the business side, such as a project leader. Ubisoft has always made great games that matched my art style, genre and I have also always enjoyed playing their games, from their splinter cell franchise to their End War game. I would like to work on there Toronto branch since, its closer to my home, then their Montréal branch, in addition their Toronto branch is smaller, which gives me the chance to share my ideas and to get to know everyone, their.

In order to achieve this, I will apply my leadership skills, and academic experiences. University of Ontario Institute of Technology will help me achieve this, as I successfully complete the, "Game development and Entrepreneurship" program. In addition the UOIT program is advised by Ubisoft, so I will get a good idea of the expectations of working at a major company. Moreover, in my third year of UOIT, I will apply at Ubisoft as an intern, additionally; I will get advice from UOIT councilors about applying as an intern to increase my chance of being accepted as an intern.

Ryan and Mina are previous UOIT students who were Ubisoft interns and got the chance to work on Avatar: The Video Game. Through UOIT, I should be able to do the same, and once I graduate, with a bachelor degree of information Technology and with all the experiences I have learned from UOIT, I will have an opportunity to work for Ubisoft fulltime. Only through University of Ontario Institute of Technology will I be able to fulfill my goal and get the experience and training to become a successful Ubisoft employer.

Writing Feedback / "A problem shared is a problem solved" (for TOEFL) [6]

in the gym I go to, there is one

Years ago inside a depressing book from a Turkish comedian I read about a metaphor called "being a football". A quote from the book that I liked is , "I was trying to find help from my friends, but all they did when they heard about my problems is kicking me like a football". In order to avoid being kicked like a football and instead build strong character is not to talk about our troubles, but to make efforts to solve them.

Let me know if that helps/if it sounds better.

Undergraduate / "an excellent education + help Africa" - Personal statement - Temple University [3]

essay 2, better answers the question, I like the fact that you mentioned about dreaming big in essay one. What I would do (if you have time), is combine essay one with essay 2, for example:

Like, my dad I too was told to dream big, my dad opened a Construction and Engineering Consulting Firm. In relation to that my professorial career included helping out my dad with his company, and luckily with my help it become one of the most well known firms around the country.

Hopefully you get where I am going...

Scholarship / "expanding my leadership role" University future contribution& leadership Scholarship [2]

Please let me know if it sounds good, and if i answered the question, this is meant to be less then 500 words. If you can please proofread.

2. How will you contribute to the university community and play a leadership role at the University of Ontario Institute of technology?

Many people define the term "leadership" in many different ways. For me leadership represents what we learn from the contributions we make for the community and our school. Through High school I have gradually contributed to the school, enriching my learning experience. Therefore learning great leadership skills by taking on various tasks and responsibilities and as a student I reflect the school I attend.

I first got a sense of leadership while joining the game programming Club in my first two month of high school. I started out as a member, wanting to contribute to the community. The GPC did so by creating a game, in the hopes of selling it and donating the money made to a charity. Though this task may be a challenge in creating a full professional 3D video game only by the students, we had hope. Through this I have learned that leadership is having intuitive, hope and determination, as that is the only thing keeping us in the GPC, and providing our own time unto this task. Though I fully learned this as I was made president of this new club I still believe I have a lot to learn about leadership.

I see myself contributing an even greater amount and expanding my leadership role once I enter University. I will contribute to the university of Ontario institute of technology by sticking to, good grades, seeking high self-esteem, self-confidence, as well as good behavior. In addition I will expand my skills of communication, interpersonal and my creativity skills, all a part of good leadership, at the university I attend. All of this, will reflect a positive image on UOIT, and as a new university, it will continue to flourish through my actions as I contribute to the available clubs and teams, not only that but UOIT will also help me sharpen my own leadership skills.

Scholarship / "my Math mark, was a surprisingly low" - university scholarship [4]

Please help with my essay, I am writing this for a university, Please proof read and also let me know if this is on the right track.

In less then 500 words right an essay for the following, there are three questions, will put up my other ones later, think it will be way too long if I put them in one thread.

1.How have your past experiences shaped who you are and benefited you as a person? Please show how these experiences are relevant to the program you've applied to.

I have had many good and bad experiences within my years, which have shaped and benefited me as a person. My experiences have developed my inner self as a student and helped me to discover what programs I am interested in for my post-secondary education. I have learned all this and developed my skills and passions by my academic and extracurricular experiences.

I had many academic experiences, whether at the time I may have thought of them as negatively or positively, they all seemed to teach me valuable lesions and new skills. My most memorable learning experience was in grade ten. This is where my Math mark, was a surprisingly low sixty, at the time I blamed the teacher. However it taught me early on that I need to adapt to different teachers and different teaching styles, and they all can work to better my academic marks, if I adapt. More over, my academic experiences taught me new learning styles, and developed my grades as I become aware of different studying methods for different types of quizzes, tests and subjects. To a greater extend, not only academically but in today's life, we need to adapt to better our self, community and the world at large.

Extra-curricular activities are also a great experience that shaped my passions. The first club I joined was the Game Programming Club (GPC). At first I was hesitant to join, but I decided to enter anyways and to this day I am glad I made that decision. It made me develop new skills, and learn about new career path in Game development, in specific I enjoyed 3D modeling. In addition to this, I also learned to just join new teams and clubs and not to hesitate. Now I am a president of this club, leading and teaching all the new members as well as setting up promotions to intrigue other members in joining. The GPC, is the reason I have decided to apply to UOIT, and specifically their Game Development and Entrepreneurship program.

I believe all of these experiences are relevant to the program I have applied to at UOIT. This can be seen true, as firstly studying Game development for me, is something different therefore, I need to adapt accordingly which is something I learned from my academic experience. As well, my extra-curricular experiences have made me try new things, so I did so by applying to a newly created university. Not only that, but my extracurricular activities, in specific the GPC taught me about this new career available for me, as a game developer. I will take everything I have learned from these experiences, and apply them to my university program in order to succeed.

Thanks!
