Undergraduate / 'Basketball and learning Arabic' - The last two summers - Princeton [5]

Your short essay is pretty impressive. I find I can hardly give your suggestion.
Just one thing--"I was able to defend a player who had a hundred pounds and six inches on me and I was quick enough to stop any player on a fast break." You may wirte about your action about how you defend the player, if you have enough space.

Undergraduate / 'affordable tuition and fees' - VTech personal statement [3]

Your statement is well organized and I like the way you talk.
But I think the part about the engineering program and Vtech's diversity can be more specific.
Is there any specific professor or course you would like to mention? And you may clarify how you can contribute to the community.

BTW, you may change the logical order, like this:
"Virginia Tech is widely known for its outstanding engineering program...And with its affordable tuition and fees, Virginia Tech allows me, a student who comes from a low class family, to have an education without worrying about the inability to payoff college debt. "

The difference between "good quality of education---->low tuition" and "low tuition---->good quality of education" is not a big deal...but I simply think changing the order makes it sound better...

Undergraduate / (SF comic / Proactive / Jazz / class) - Yale short responses [4]

Here are the five responses.
1) What would you do with a free afternoon tomorrow?
- I would lie down on the ground of my study flooded with sunlight and come back to the world of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Arthur Dent's time machine always inspires me to creat e more science fiction comic.

2) Recall a compliment you recieved that you especially value. What is it? From who did it come?
- "You are so proactive and determined that you will pursue your dream wherever you go." My landlord told me that when I left her house after summer break for the new semester.

3) If you could witness one moment in history, what would it be and why?
- I would witness the moment that the first time Buddy Bolden, the renowned jazz musician in New Orleans, grafted traditional band music onto rough blues. As a jazz fever, it's a pity to be unable to see the great achievement of jazz history.

4) What do you wish you were better at being or doing?
- I wish I were a better runner; I started running cross country last year and I wanted to earn more honor for my school.
5) If you were choosing students to form a Yale class, what quesion would you ask here that we have not?
- What is your least favorite food, music, or something else? Why?
