Undergraduate / Intellectual individuality/open curriculum ; Brown /Architect of your education [3]

What about:

I seek an environment where it is encouraged to express intellectual individuality, where opportunities to combine subjects I love are limitless. That place is Brown.

Brown would allow me take charge of my education and study independently. To pursue my concentration with the option of Environmental Issues and Pollution Prevention. To pursue a degree in Environmental Science as well as Chemical Engineering. I will not be restrained. By maximizing my education, I can add an environmental twist to my chemical engineering studies.

With Brown's open curriculum, I have the freedom to further explore my interests by participating in research with the CES, the WIIS or the ECI.

Reading your response I wonder if I I grasped the concept of being an Architect of your education well. Can you give me an idea of what it means?

Undergraduate / 'Scientific exploration' - CalTech supplement essay [5]

Since the prompt says "What is it about Caltech's opportunities and resources that will best fuel your intellectual curiosity and develop your passion for science, technology, math or engineering?" it might be a good idea to include some specific courses or programs or research opportunities etc. somewhere

They want to know what in the curriculum or the college specifically you think will help you achieve your goal. what do you think CalTech can do for you better than other schools could

Undergraduate / Intellectual individuality/open curriculum ; Brown /Architect of your education [3]

Hi! Can you help me take out some characters. I don't know what to change.

A distinctive feature of the Brown Curriculum is the opportunity to be the architect of your education. Why does this academic environment appeal to you? (700 characters)

I seek an environment where it is possible and encouraged to express intellectual individuality, where opportunities to combine subjects I love are limitless. That place is Brown.

Brown would give me the freedom to choose what I want to study. To pursue my concentration with the option Environmental Issues and Pollution Prevention. Or pursue a degree in Environmental Science as well as Chemical Engineering. I will not be restrained. By maximizing my education, I can add an environmental twist to my chemical engineering studies.

With Brown's open curriculum, I could also explore other interests: International Relations, German, Ethnic, Portuguese or Africana Studies, and broaden my knowledge of the world.

Undergraduate / 'unstable situation in my country' - Brown: If you could do anything without failing [11]

Hello and thank you for your time. Here are two different responses and I don't know which one to pick:

Complete the thought: If I could do anything without the risk of failing I would... (200 Characters)

I would learn all the languages in the world. I find languages fascinating. Some might say, five are already impressive, but I would love to understand all of them. This would allow me to communicate globally.

(209 Characters)

OR

I would find a way to fix the unstable situation in my country. I would round up all those who want to make a change and we would help establish a solid government by fair elections and fighting corruption.

(207 Characters)

I would also very much appreciate any advice as to how I could reduce the number of characters.
