Undergraduate / QUEENS is my Cinderella slipper; Research done for QUEENS COMMERCE PROGRAM [2]
In 300 words or fewer (approximately 1950 characters with spaces), please demonstrate the research you have done to ensure that Queen's Commerce Program is the right fit for you.
Often times it is difficult to determine if a program is the "right fit" without actually paying the tuition and going to the school, however I have without a doubt in my mind that Queens is my Cinderella slipper. Other than the regular research that one puts into a University (e.g. Campus tours, reading the universities website, and reading other past graduates experiences with the program), I have also had the added experience of being able to interact and socialize with a variety of Queens students. I can now say that not only am I impressed by the fact that there are MBA professors teaching Queens Commerce students, but also by the social atmosphere of the school. I had recently gone to a Queens's social gathering and from it I was able to actually experience what it's like to be a student on the campus. All I can say is I absolutely loved it, the people that go to the school are some of the brightest I have talked to, and I was able to keep pace with their conversations as well as relate to many of their activities. For instance a lot of the people I talked to had participated in DECA, and so I was able to share my International DECA experience with them, and was able to hear theirs in turn. So without a doubt the academic value of this program is to be regarded with awe, however for me it is not just about learning but also being able to have fun while learning. After all if I am going to be spending four years as well as a large sum of money, I better be able to enjoy myself, while also receiving a good education, which unfortunately many universities can only offer the latter.
