Writing Feedback / Happiness period varies from person to person and from society to society (Teenage vs Adulthood) [2]

Some people think that teenage years are the happiest times of most people's lives. Others think that adult life brings more happiness, in spite of greater responsibilities. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Everyone wants to be happy, but its period varies from person to person and from society to society. For some people, the happiest time for them is early teens, while for others it is the adult hood. This essay will discuss both ages and then it will form an opinion based on those points.

Firstly, let us consider the teenage, when boys and girls step into their new stage of life, at the age of 13. At this age, they have different options, some select to work and some continue studies. This phase changes their views about life and happiness. Some develop good etiquette and progress well in personal education, whereas some face social and financial issues and this occasionally transformed them into an aggressive member of a community. For the rich teenagers, it is the happiest time, while for underprivileged teenagers is a time to struggle and take this as a challenge to be successful.

After 10 years, those teens appear as adults and then their priorities starts to change. The struggling adults find contentment in their lives as they have some earnings which can bring some peace of mind for them, while for richer adults it vary according to their circumstances. If they are still well off, they will not be as delightful as they were in their teenage because they have additional responsibilities to take care. On the contrary, if they are in an upside down situation, they will remain depressed for the fortune lost.

In short, happiness is a subjective term and varies from individual to individual. In my opinion, it depends on one's nature, their social status and approach towards life.

Writing Feedback / Mixed education provide added opportunity for either sex to develop interpersonal skills [NEW]

Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. Other, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed schools.

Single Sex Education vs Mixed Education

Around the world, mode of education varies according to society and cultural norms. Some countries have single education while in some countries both systems co-exist. Analyzing benefits of both type of education system will help to express an opinion.

Firstly, let us see how mixed education is beneficial to students. Some people believe there are no sexual harassment, more focus studies and religious harmony. Let consider the example of a separate boy's school, Firstly, as there are no girls in school, so boys cannot harass them. Some activities are for boys only and they can work with each other without worrying about girls. For example swimming or cleaning up a classroom as a punishment. Some students may feel shame or embarrass in front of girls in such situations. Also in some religions being partially naked or not covering your body is very offensive. Thirdly, all religious groups who favor separate education would remain calm and there would be no conflicts between societies in general.

On the other side of the discussion, let us consider the benefits of co-education. Some believe that it promotes dialog, friendship and neutralize the attraction between opposite sex. For example, a class which has equal number of girls and boys, usually remains balance and well mannered. Sometime, both sexes try to impress each other and they perform amazingly well in their exams. In addition, sometimes opposite sex, feedback is required, so usually the course remains unbiased towards any specific gender and each learns to respect others as another human being. Moreover, some students become best friends and end up in future married couples. This also promotes a healthy and productive relationship between different cultures and societies.

In conclusion, I think mixed education provide added opportunity for either sex to develop interpersonal skills, become essential part of a moral and balanced society. However, school management should not forget the need for appropriate measures to control sexual harassment and avoid religious controversy.

Writing Feedback / 'Globalization is like elephant' - how it affects the world? [5]

Globalization is a phenomenon, which is shaping world economics. Some countries are progressing at an unmatched rate, while others are suffering from its hidden side effects. To understand it, one should look on the both side of the picture.

First, let us look at how globalization is benefiting people and how it helps in improving economic condition. Everyone knows if you want better jobs, you want investment in your country. For this reason, governments around the world are allowing International companies to step up businesses in their countries. Once such companies start their operations, people starts getting jobs and in turn, the economy improves. In addition, those branded companies maintain a good standard and produce quality products. Thus, it improves the living standard of local people. Not only that, those global companies offers good salaries, and other benefits like health insurance and end of service benefits, which make people think that globalization and franchising is the way forward.

On the other side of the picture, these benefits come at a cost. Many small local companies either starts facing market pressure or they go out of business because they cannot compete with those international companies simple because they do not have such resources and funds remain in competition. Secondly, these global companies offer a new way of life, which promotes Western cultures and styles. Moreover, this increases the gap between rich and poor to a next level. Other than this, rich countries start ripping off poor countries by consuming there resources and polluting their environment. In the end, we find out environmental organizations raise their voices against such issues. Nevertheless, local governments have their own interest in those multinationals, so they simply turn a blind eye on them. Therefore, those companies continue to operate without any corrective measures.

In conclusion, globalization is an elephant, which seems good from far side, but once we bring it in our homes it become apparent that it want more resources than what we expected. It destroys the natural environment and leaves very little space for locals to live. Government should control the influx of such companies and make sure that such companies do not affect the local business and the environment in any way, by implementing stringent and strict policies for them.
