Writing Feedback / Both my parents are 100% Indian, but you wouldn't know just by looking at me - MIT Essay (100 words) [2]
Both my parents are 100% Indian, but you wouldn't know just by looking at me. When I was one, our family moved to Ghana. I've been exposed to a multitude of cultures, and my Indian relatives gripe that I've lost my roots. However, I believe I've forged my own identity from the parts of each culture I love. I'm not just a demure Indian wallflower who has a flair for biology. I'm also a radiantly assertive, easily excitable Ga woman. I may not be beautiful rose or a sweet- smelling lily, but I'm proud to be a hybrid.
