topic (dis/agree) There are times when lying is acceptable.

When people are young, they all received a concept both from the teachers and the parents that a genuine people should always tell the truth. Lying to someone reflect a dishonest aspect of a person. This bad habit would ruin a person's life to some extent. However, who can claim that s/he has never told a lie? If the answer happened to be "I never tell a lie." then this must be a big lie.

In reference to lying, some of them could be regarded as acceptable.
First, some lie could help to develop the relationship with each other. For example, your dear wife just bought a new dress, and she asked for your opinion about if the dress was smart and trendy, or if it was suitable for her. Then what comments would you cast based on the fact that your true idea was that you don't like the dress? You choose to tell the truth, and say"Oh darling, it is ugly, old fashioned." or "Why you waste your money on that." Yes, when you say this, you are a honest man, but have you ever considered your wife's feeling? She must be very upset due to your honest behavior. In such cases, lying is truly not a disgracing thing, besides, such lie could win a harmony relationship between you two.

Another occasion that telling a lie should be considered acceptable is when some sudden accident happened, and you have to tell this bad news to a senior. Usually, it is hard for a senior to accept an sudden change in their life. For example, they have to face the fact of their children's death. In order not to trigger the sad emotion of the senior people, a better way may be to tell a lie first, and later let them know little by little. That lie would be forgivable.

My last line is that one could not lie for venomous purpose, and even if you are lie in some cases, keep in mind that one should be always honest and sincere-these are precious virtue.

dis/agree: Subjects such as art, music, and drama should be a part of every child's basic education.

Nowadays, many school, either primary school or high school or even in the kindergarten have already arranged some courses like art and music appreciation and drama performation. The trend is beneficial and necessary.

Yes, you may say the main purpose of a student is to study science like math or physics. Yes, you may think that few children can become artists in the future. But these all are not the sound reasons to cancel such courses.

The first thing is a child's future holds lots of possibilities. Although they are young, we cannot make decision for them. What our adult should do is to try to open them to all kinds of subjects. For example, Mozart is a talent person in music, what if he did not even geo the opportunity to touch the piano. Instead, most of his time was asked to solve math puzzles.

Second, subject like art, music is excellent at helping to develop children's brain. Studies have shown that people who play instruments or draw are brighter than those who don't. Play music can stimulate the brain and help to foster a quicker mind. We all know that our brain has two hemisphere, music and art trigger the right side of the brain which are not that active when one only learn science subject or recite things.

At last, we all once were a student. Life in school is not that easy. It seems that we have infinite homework to do. At least for me, I long for a music class or art class, this is always a good path to relax and soothe myself.

As I discussed above, subject such as art, music, and drama is not only important but necessary for the children as well.

Why do you think some people are attracted to dangerous sports or other dangerous activities?

It is not a difficult thing to find something so-called dangerous activities like parachuting to do or at least you have ever heard about someone you know or not who engaged in such activities. More than likely, you are just one of them. It seems that the more dangerous the activities are, the more fascinating they are, and the more enjoyable people feel. The reason for such seemingly curious phenomenon may fall into these three categories.

One of the explanations that seem unbelievable is the fact that people earn money by taking part in the activities, which is full of hazard; if possible, it would even be deadly. When search TV channels, one kind of games seems to receive a high audience-rate, and it never failed to appeal several dozens of contestants to join in. For example, the freaky rule of one game says like this, he who can eat as more peppers as possible in a finite time would win the first prize, which is a cheque of $500,000. Though the rule seems ridiculous, besides, it is hard to imagine a man can eat so many peppers at a time, which could bring some serious bad effect to their health, just for money, it really occur. This case is not rare; similarly, far stranger games could be found everywhere and take place every minute. That is just one of the reasons; namely, by involve themselves in such dangerous activities in exchange of money.

Another popular motive is dangerous itself. As one of the dangerous activity lovers said, it I nothing else, it is just the dangerous itself that makes it so fascinating to me. You may say that would cost your life, but what I want to tell you is it is worthy.

A third cause that is most meaningless is the people's nescience. For example, people climb cliff without using the protective device, while others swim into the dangerous area totally regardless of the safe note. They see themselves as a "superman". How sad!

Surely, there are other motivations involved with participation in dangerous activity, but these are three of the most popular ones. In summary, people take in it for money, for fun, or for nothing.
