Thanks in advance.

Topic: Motivation Letter for BSC BBA

I wish to enroll at the Bachelor's in Business Administration program at K.U. Leuven, the most renowned and diverse university in the heart of Belgium, Brussels.

Being ranked 48th worldwide according to Times Higher Education (THE), K.U. Leuven is also a very diverse university in Belgium; with approximately 60 different nationalities interacting with each other. I firmly believe that interaction with students having different backgrounds not only helps us to better understand their culture but in future it plays a prime role in the success of the student. Able to interact with different people with different working/studying styles will allow me to easily fit in the workforce where there are number of different people with different backgrounds.

Digging deep in what K.U. Leuven's BBA degree has to offer, it was clear that this program was designed for me. With courses related to economics and business, my favorites, I will be able to put my hands on course like ICT. The most interesting part ,for me, about the course is that I will be able to learn two different languages. Learning languages like Dutch motivates me to attend K.U. Leuven because it will increase my probability to land in a top company because communication is a vital part at the job; it prevents delays and most importantly allow employees to get accepted in the workforce.

Moreover, I always wanted to work as a business administrator and/or be an entrepreneur. To achieve my dream I believe that your university can help me to make my dream into reality. A successful entrepreneur, in my opinion, need to be confident, open minded , creative, passionate, and risk taker. By attending your university it can pave my path to my dream because BBA degree at your university being rigorous due to that fact that your program covers different topics in detail, will allow me to establish skills and knowledge required to become a successful entrepreneur or a business consultant. Your university providing opportunities, like workshops and open forums in the BBA programme would help me gain hands-on experience with solving day-to-day problems and pathway advisers organizing extra tutorial alongside professors lecture would give me a chance to practice the theory, this extra guidance would give me a broader perspective on what has been taught in the class.

Outside the academic context, I volunteered at Ayesha Textile Processing Industries to experience the environment of an actual firm. While the safety and health hazards forbade me from putting in much physical input, I did participate in intellectual activities like decision making meetings with the employees, advising and understanding their thought process which made them excel at their work.

To test, challenge and enhance my management and leadership skills, I worked at places like "Abdullah Textile" and "Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre". We had to perform tasks in groups and I was selected as the group leader with all the responsibilities of a leader like bringing the team together and delegating tasks according to each member's strengths and weaknesses.

I am also grateful for my time as a volunteer at SOS Children's Village as it gave me a chance to spend time with children who could use my assistance and got to help them in different activities including teaching them. My time with them motivated me further to help the less fortunate and prompted me to organize a food drive in my Ramadan with my friends.

All these work experiences I had, I experienced the managing of a business which continuously increased my interest to take BBA degree.

K.U. Leuven, having a multicultural environment and researched oriented policy, is a great place to prompt my interest. I am confident that this programme will act as a solid foundation for my career, not only giving a strong theoretical basis, but also molding me as a well-rounded Entrepreneur and/or Business consultant.

Thank you for reading my motivation letter, and I hope that I can be the part of K.U. Leuven.

Tala, a motivation letter needs to represent only a few descriptive information per paragraph. The information you need to present are:

1. A summary of your educational background from your undergraduate course to your masters course;
2. A summary of your professional history and how it created the foundation of your motivation for higher academic studies;
3. Specific academic challenges that you face in relation to your current job which you hope to have the university help you address through this course;

4. Why you were motivated to study in this country based on its achievements in your field of choice.

Those are the motivating factors that need to be presented in summary form, as these will be discussed at length in the personal statement and statement of purpose essays later on. The motivation letter should be strong in reasoning but not too definitive as this should only be a 5 paragraph essay at the most.
