Scholarship Motivation Letter; IT background with almost 10 years of experience

This is a motivation letter for a scholarship from a company. They ask to explain why I am the right candidate and my interest in the company. What do you guys think?

Dear Scholarship Selection Committee,

I am writing to apply for the XXXX Scholarship for the MBA program during the academic year starting in 2014.

I have an IT background with almost 10 years of professional experience working in different industries. I have been assigned more responsibilities resulting in obtaining a different set of skills and knowledge in each role. My career has allowed me to work in multicultural environments which has allowed me to be exposed to different cultural background, experience, qualifications and perspectives. My father's career took us to several countries during my childhood and adolescence, and provided me with some formative experience to lend to a diverse culture. Both backgrounds have enhanced my personal and professional development by fostering the development of inter-cultural collaboration that has encouraged creativity and innovation.

Honestly, I have never heard of XXXX before and after researching about the company, I came to realize the size and the reach the company has globally. I am fascinated by the focus on innovation and commitment to sustainability in the products and production processes. It is also admirable the impact the company has had by improving quality of life in different parts of the world. I would hope to be given the opportunity to work for your company and contribute to the innovation and projects in the future.
