Death Penalty (Research Paper); Introduction sentence

I have done research for this topic and I have to write a 5 page paper on the death penalty. I am against the death penalty and I think Arizona should probit the death sentence. The assignment is about a bill that is being reviewed in the senate of the state I live in (I live in the state of arizona) and write a research paper on for or against the topic of the bill. I cannot think of an intro sentence!

may be you can start from some narration.. a piece of a scene involving death penalty and then you start with the comments and your info.. HOPE THAT HELPS.:)
