Need points/advice on Global Warming (I am opposed to it)

I am writing an argumentive essay about global warming, and have decided that I am opposed to it. I have so much info on the topic , however I don't know how to get started.

I would like to say that humans are not the cause of these recent climate changes, but I feel my points are not as strong as they should be.

Another point I was thinking I could use is that Global Warming is a scam

Any help is appreciated,
thanks

Hi,

Humans played a major part in global warming. So supporting humans (in this context) wouldn't fetch u many points and also its difficult to strengthen ur essay that way.

I don't agree with what you're trying to argue, but I guess I can help.

Ever since the Earth began sustaining life, global temperatures have always risen and dropped i.e. the Ice Age. Studies have shown that every major extinction, global warming or cooling have played a major part in the extinction. Obviously, during those times, humans weren't even part of the equation. Maybe it's just the time for another global temperature change.

Global warming is a scam? Again, don't agree, but if you look closely at Al Gore's movie about global warming, there are many inconsistencies. I can't think of some off the top of my head, but Google can help you with that.

have decided that I am opposed to it.

Well, it's not so much a matter of for or against. It's about whether or not you believe it is happening and that humans are causing it.

Based on what you wrote here, it seems like you need to read some articles and write a paragraph about the main idea expressed by each author. If you study 5 articles like that, and if you can tell me the main idea expressed by each author, I think you will be ready to write.

But your ideas cannot come from this thread. They have to come from articles, and you'll cite the articles. So, search your school library's database for: global warming arguments

Try to find articles written in the past 5 years. This is like a scavenger hunt, and then you have to search through the articles' introductions to find the main idea of each. Easy, easy!!
