Dear EssayForum
Please review my essay for the AAS scholarship, the question is
Here is my answer
I am applying for a master degree in supply chain management because I wanted to contribute to Indonesia manufacturing industry. Currently, I am working for an automotive manufacturing company in Indonesia as a production staff for an engine factory. The global car industry now facing the emerging of electric vehicle (EV) and the Indonesian government response highly interested since they have strategic resources for manufacturing the battery and wanted to be the major producer in the world. I would like to contribute to the development of EV by being a skilled professional in supply chain management to create a whole new supply chain of EV and its components in Indonesia. Thus, it will grow the EV market, attract investors to build factories, increase exports, and create new jobs.
I am choosing Master of Logistic and Supply Chain Management at the University of Sydney because it offers industry placement which is very important for practical learning and applying the solution directly in the field. They also offer supply chain disruption management which is aligned in the current condition of pandemic recovery. Moreover, the university formed the Institute of Transport And Logistic Studies (ITSL). They have done much research in supply chain planning and design, as well as study towards EV itself, and I find those very useful for my purpose to developing the supply chain of EV.
My second preference is Master of Strategic Supply Chain Management at University Technology Sydney. They offer industry internship and supply chain technology and risk management. The course has been recognized by CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) which provide extensive tools and knowledge on supply chain management to its member.
Thank You!
