Need A Unique Advice before 8 April 2019!

The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program/JJWBGSP (Preffered Programs)
Two qualified assessors independently review each eligible application and score the application on a scale of 1 to 10, taking into account four main factors and the degree of cohesion among them:

Quality of Professional Experience (30% weight)
Quality of Professional Recommendations (30% weight)
Quality of Commitment to your Home Country (30% weight)
Quality of Education Background (10% weight)

the purpose of this master degree

Looking at your history, why, at this particular juncture in your career, do you feel it is important to pursue this master's degree? What are your future career plans? Where do you see yourself in 5 -10 years? (Limit to 300 words). *

I see myself ten years from now as an international development expert on Indonesia's development. Pursuing a master degree of applied international development at University of Reading could facilitate my intention. The programme will capacitate me with development knowledge and methodological skills through courses such as theories and practices of development, qualitative research methods, gender and development, participatory interventions in development, addressing poverty and inequality through social policy.

Development policy and planning is one of the offered pathways in the programme. This pathway is highly relevant with the working experience with Indonesia's Ministry of Development Planning and SDGs local training for local officials with UCLG Asia Pacific. Prior to selecting that pathway, theories and practices of development course will solidify my development understanding with measuring development, indigenous knowledge, discourse and political ecology, bypassing scale (networks, translocalism and development assemblages), systems-based approaches, as well as migration, movement, and mobility. Those knowledge enables me to keep abreast of what development is and what it is generated, validated and reproduced as well as how politics and actors affecting it. In here, I intend to be an international development expert who focuses on Indonesia's development planning system. The participatory interventions course increases my capacity in innovation processes and decision-making in natural resource based livelihoods, with particular respect to participatory and bottom-up approaches. This understanding could help me to better analyse complexities of Indonesia development planning.

In order to that, I will work at an international organization or worldwide think thank who focus on development planning issues in ten years from now. As part of this, I will also engage with top rank policy makers as their expert to share my concern e.g. how the current development planning represents citizen problems and what makes local governments formulate better their social policy for poverty reduction.

Technically speaking on your grammatical composition, I suggest that you look into your usage of punctuation and prepositions. There were slip-ups that I would rather not nitpick on.

Regarding the content of your essay, I would suggest that you shift around the content to ensure that you follow a specific pattern and structure. I would recommend that you shift your first paragraph to the last portion of the essay.

In addition, you can be more specific with your wordings. Tackle specific issues and approaches - rather than just mentioning that they exist. The more specific you are, the better it would be to contribute to your essay's flow because it would be more comprehensive for the readers.

A part of the criteria is the commitment to the home country. Your current essay seemingly lacks this portion. Mention more about how specifically you want to help the country. By doing this and showing an in-depth research on the topic, you are showing that you truly know more about the topic.
