XYZ's Chemical Engineering program and specialized courses in Engineering combined with the University's paid Internship program (PEY), are opportunities I believe will help me in my endeavor of pursuing Chemical Engineering. I plan on enrolling in these specialized courses to further my knowledge in the world of Chemical Engineering, and conversing with like-minded individuals to address global issues.
At its essence, I believe the University's program and opportunities will benefit me in my pursuit of becoming a Chemical Engineer, where I plan on improving the profitability of Industrial chemical processes, without compromising the integrity and sustainability of the environment.

Actually, your response is incorrect in the sense that you speak of your long term goals, but not of your academic objectives. You have to discuss the academic goals as these relate to your long term career plans. You should not be repeating the programs of the university ad verbatim and telling the reviewer what you expect to gain from these, without premising it on your academic goals first. So you will have to revise the total response to align the professional goals with the academic reasons for wanting to study the course at the university. Plans are not the same as academic goals. You need the academic goals as these relate to your career plans.
