the world i come from
Growing up in Biemso N0-2, a village in the Ahafo-Ano south District of Ashanti Region (Ghana), was stressful yet full of great memories. I was raised by my Grandmother alongside a senior brother, while my mother was in the city hustling with my other siblings.
I had my basic education at the village, and schooling there was a bit difficult, as we had less access to quality educational materials and facilities such as text books, Library, I.C.T LAB, and above all, there was no Electricity in the Village.
We had to use Lantern when solving our home assignments every evening, and after that we wait for the moon light to appear, so we could go out and play.
I have strong interest in farming, and I believe it's due to the fact that I visited the farm with my grandmother during vacations and holidays, and I loved those moments a lot.
I lost my father when I was 3 months old, which means that I couldn't capture his looks than to even spend time with him, but my mother keeps telling me that my interest in reading and problem solving are indeed great characters that I inherited from him.
Well, my mother, as well as my siblings, have been my utmost inspiration towards success, as they have always motivated, advised and supported me In everything that I do. Being the first person to complete Senior High School, they all expect me to live the dreams they couldn't live due to financial hardship.
I pray that my dreams and aspirations to become successful come to pass, so that I can take good care of my family, and that someday, I will own a P.H.D.
