My networking skills started to grow during my study interval in college, i was interested in building a strong relations whether with my colleagues or with my professors, I helped a lot of friends to understand scientific materials and get high marks by organized a lot of lecture to teach them the hardest points in our study in an easy way, the good relations with my friends in college helped me a lot after that, a lot of my friends recommend me in many jobs whether inside or outside Egypt and I have got my first job by recommendation of one of those friends, another one told me about Chevening and how i can apply for scholarship.

I have good relationships with my professors till now, after graduation one of my professors who was responsible for supervision of my graduation project asked me to help a group of students in their graduation project and i done, one of them motivated me to complete postgraduate study and i already started and finished the pre-master year, another professor recommended me to work as demonstrator in private university but in this interval I was enrolled in the Egyptian army and therefore i didn't get this job.

My faith in the importance and the value of networking and communication skills on my career made me always trying to develop these skills, since i heard about LinkedIn I did not hesitate in registry on it, now I have about 800 followers from inside and outside Egypt in various fields, i benefited from many of them in different fields, one of my followers asked me to learn him how he can perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and another one asked me to help him to have a good job and i always trying to help all of them.

My current job as electrical site engineer need strong networking skills because I was dealing with contractors, technicians and workers from multiple companies and I responsible for finishing works in a good manor and in definite time, my good relations with them helped me to do that easily, even if I was not at the work site during implementation, my good networking skills made me overpass my friends at work and recommended me to lead a maintenance team, although I have not complete two years at work.

I always trying to improve my networking skills and knowing many people and friends around world, I like to convey my technical and leadership experience to them and take advantage of their experience and i think that Chevening community will help me too much to achieve that, I'm looking forward to lead a team of different nationalities to complete a research project and to earn new experiences from each individual of them in his career. my future plan is to form a private company after I built a pyramid of Technical experience, relationships, networking and communication skills that will help me to achieve success.

Virtual networks such as linkedIn are not entirely impressive to the reviewers because these are not contacts that you have easy access to in the real world, should the need to contact them on the job arise.
