Hello friends! I want to apply for Chevening scholarship this year and I am in need of a reviewer to my essays. Please kindly help review my essay below and I will surely give my honest opinion to others! Cheers!
Flashing back when I just started working as a commercial analyst about a year and a half ago, I was awfully fragile about the role of my career as it requires a lot of presentation and the art of convincing people to believe in myself. I learned to realise that trusts come with a person rather than the information itself. Being able to be a person who can empower the public could make a complicated task turn into a simple one. Networking skills do not solely imply meeting new people but it gives you a vast source of advanced information, valuable experiences, and interactions between experts once you are included in the group.
In July 2017, I was greatly honored to be one of the speakers at Thailand's largest forum about petrochemical business, The 8th Olefins and Aromatics Forum, held by PTT. The key detail was to portray business challenges which could make relevant impacts to the industry. Asides new acquaintances I obtained, I am now able to access a pool of expertise in economy and geopolitics, upstream business, and downstream business which can truly help broaden and sharpen my analysis. Furthermore, being known as one of the speakers has elevated my confidence to another level when it comes to petrochemical. I can certainly exchange my knowledge to the public without hesitation which totally helps distribute essential information to all party concerned faster. Hence, accelerating the work process by miles. However, it is extremely important not to omit others' opinions especially when constructive criticisms are given.
Likewise, receiving Chevening scholarship can surely open up my world to an invaluable knowledge and experiences from Cheveners of all fields. This will not only expand my skills but it also helps achieve my plan by studying the systems of successful countries from direct citizens. Moreover, I can exchange my knowledge by utilising the network I have in my hometown to other Cheveners in case that our strong points could make betterments to other countries.
