Question: How would this scholarship make a difference in meeting your financial needs while attending OCC?

Obtaining a scholarship will help my some of my financial needs. Receiving this Gifford Scholarship will help pay for some of my tuition fees and allow me to afford to attend OCC. The scholarship will be better than individually paying back each of my classes and it also eliminates paying back some student loans. After graduating from OCC i know i will be in debt so receiving this scholarship will even take off some money load. if i do receive this scholarship it will help me further my education in a four year college in New York and help me improve my social worker skills that i obtained while attending OCC i plan on being a Social Worker, specializing in child protection or even child welfare. I know while attending college and even beyond there are going to be some challenges that i will have to face, but i will do what ever it takes to try and overcome those challenges.
