Why does it interest you, and what does this tell us about you?In my junior year I took Puget Sounds Skills Center (PSSC). At that school I took Marine Technology. Before I took this class I didn't know what I would do or what I would become. I was really scared because the future was not something I look forward too. I never can stick with one thing. This class changed that. Our class was on the beach and usually every Friday we would go catch critters for our tank. We caught crab, starfish, and we even saw seals. Our teacher talked about the careers in marine biology. Once I heard that you could travel around the world and you could explore the deep of the seas. I was automatically hooked. That class was extremely fun. My favorite memory of that class would have to be getting my Cold Water Survival Certification at the end of the year. To get that you would need to survive on your own with the limited foods and supplies that they give you. I had to eat salty baby crab. It was disgusting.I loved this class and I enjoy it very much. One of the main reasons why I took PSSC Marine Technology because for once I wanted to go out into the field and record the actual things I see and feel. I even get to go boating, we even got o go crab potting. Now that is what I call the best educational experiences. I want to do this everyday when I get older. I want to wake up every morning and do this.
