STUDY PLAN

I chose 3 universities with similar degrees; Seoul University (Department of Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design), Yonsei University (Clothing and Textiles) and Korea University (Art and Design). Based on my research, these universities seek to strengthen creativity, practice community service and have a quality education. Being highly classified when it comes to fashion. I believe that with these values, it will guide students to be innovative leaders with a community vision.

I would like to do specific courses in Fashion, Textile or Designer. All these three specifications are linked by analyzing, recognizing and developing artistic and scientific aspects, responding actively to the diverse demands of the fashion industry and contributing to the development of the textile industry.

By focusing on this branch, I will contribute to finding new means for a more conscious fashion. In addition to helping explain social behaviors to get to know the public, my focus is to collaborate Fashion with science, engineering and technology to create a new future where it has a positive influence on the environment, society and our health. Remember that clothing is vital to our most basic needs of heat and protection, but we are beginning to realize that the role of fashion in our health and well-being goes well-beyond that. By studying fashion, textiles or design, I can help bring innovation and change to a higher quality of life.

By doing my bachelor's degree, I intend to get the best GPA, in addition to engaging in practical experiences through extracurricular activities and contributing to community service. In this way, I will rapidly adapt to the Korean environment and acquire practice and new skills.

2024-2025

At the beginning of college, I intend to be active in clubs and volunteer activities on and off campus. This will improve my communication and enhance my academic experience. Therefore, I would like to take advantage of this and be more exposed to the Korean environment and participate in activities that challenge me and my creativity. Besides being active in volunteer activities and clubs, I will prioritize my education in the Korean language.

2026-2027

Halfway through college, I intend to remain active in volunteering and club activities, but I will focus more on my studies. By studying more in this period, I will be able to deepen the trends in the development of new textile fibre materials, a topic of great global importance. To deepen my study, I will visit libraries and research articles that talk about innovative textile materials.

2028 onwards

In the remaining time of study at the university through the GKS, I intend to study and finish my thesis so that I can graduate with good grades. Then, I intend to return to Brazil and Through the Brazilian Association of the Textile Industry (ABIT), research new fibers that do not affect the environment and make use of ecological resources.

South Korean industry has focused on promoting future industries based on state-of-the-art technologies, stimulating entrepreneurship and the innovative application of technology. The textile sector is one of the most important for the quality of life of the entire world population. After all, clothing is part of one of man's basic needs. In addition, fabrics are useful for decoration, security and many other purposes. So I'm going to use my knowledge of innovative textile shapes for more sustainable production models.

Through the GKS grant, I will contribute to research of innovative fabrics and the creation of smart clothes thinking in various consumer audiences. Another way is to create a coworking platform where professionals, companies and students can exchange experiences and even bring new ideas, be it for the development of solutions, new products, or sustainability strategies, for example.

When studying at Seoul University, Yonsei University or Korea University, I hope not only to have knowledge, but also practice. With the help of GKS, I'm going to devote myself to making a positive change in this world.
