Bucknell Supp -- Question (plans, major)

I did not quite understand what they want me to write about in this specific question. Could anyone clarify this for me? Sorry if it is too obvious and I am the only one who is confused :P Thank-you.

Bucknell is a multifaceted university with broad opportunities for you to explore your interests and discover new ones. Many of our students choose double majors or minors or combine academic interests in unique ways. If you'd like, choose one to three majors from the major of choice list above and let us know what other subjects, besides your first-choice major, you might pursue while at Bucknell. Are we supposed to list 1-3 other majors from the list aside from our first-choice? What do they mean by "other subjects"? Math, biology, chemistry, that kind of subject?

At this time, do you have graduate/professional school plans?

My answer is yes, however, they ask me "If so, please outline briefly:" What exactly am I supposed to outline? Am I supposed to say where and what exactly do I wish to do in graduate school?

I think like if your major was Marine Biology, you could take a different minor like Computer Science. I am a bit confused about this, too. Then perhaps, you would take other subjects for having a different minor that is required for that minor.

but, are we supposed to list? I mean, I chose in the list of majors to do a BS Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Management for Engineers - in other words, a double major. So what exactly am I supposed to answer for these two questions?

I think it's a simple matter of choosing a few from the list as a way of expressing your unique interests.


I think you can choose 1-3 in addition to your first choice. And yes, you could choose any major. In addition to your first choice, you might be interested in social work, because a social work degree opens up so many different opportunities. Or, you might be interested in political science, because you are becoming fascinated with politics.

For your grad school plans, just tell them the current status of your plan. What specific areas of your chosen field interest you most? Whatever they are, describe some research involving them -- research you might do as a grad student. To whatever extent you can expound our plan, do so, because it shows your seriousness.
