Members of the Caltech community live, learn, and work within an Honor System with one simple guideline; "No member shall take unfair advantage of any other member of the Caltech community." While seemingly simple, questions of ethics, honesty and integrity are sometimes challenging. Share an ethical dilemma that has challenged you. How did you respond? Your response is not limited to academic situations. (100 words max)
I felt the sympathy rushing inside of me as it was passing through the ethical barrier of honesty. Sitting next to Sarah, I heard her sobbing in her darkened face . Those times... those efforts... yet... she might fail the class. I clenched my fist and looked down to my effortless completed answer sheet of the chemistry final; "Sarah, here..." I whispered to her as I slid it rightward and showed her the answers. Under those red eyes, Sarah gave me a smile and corruptly said "Thank you [my name] but, I'd rather fail myself than pass cheating."
So hey guys, can you help me out and tell me if this is interesting to read? I looked up some and they're really good compare to mine.
Thank you
