Why UC Davis - waitlist essay; outstanding professors/ great internship programs

Hi everyone so I got waitlisted for UC Davis to economics major of letters and science and I'd like some feedback on my essay so far thanks!

"If accepting a position on the waitlist, please briefly tell us why you feel UC Davis is the right place for you to continue your education."

UC Davis has always been my top interest for colleges with its outstanding economics program that covers international trade very extensively. I believe I will be an excellent choice that will utilize every available preparatory and core classes, leading to the upper division work of international economic classes, at hand to succeed, contributing and giving back to UC Davis, while receiving and learning skills that I will use in the future towards the variables of economics. With outstanding professors like Ann Huff Stevens and Peter Lindert with their amazing work for one thing on economic growth and loss and all fields connected to it modernly, the economics program at UC Davis is unparalleled and where I want to learn from. The great internship programs would also help me immensely, such as the program to work in the government organizations in Washington, giving me a head start and experiencing economics first hand. The wide array of opportunities given to those in the economic field will provide a great footing in the real world as I apply what I have learned to my career towards the future. I would really like to attend to UC Davis and would surely enroll if admitted.
